The sixteen Franciscan brothers, most of them theological students, who were alleged to have thrown furniture of the building from which they had been expelled, out of the window, appeared before a court here charged with the destruction of third party property.
One brother was sentenced to serve one month in jail, nine were given a sentence of three weeks, five will remain in jail for fourteen days, and one will be behind bars for ten days,—Havas.
