To Editor of the Nommu-Cuna DAx.y News"
Sm,—Today, May 2%, being the day of the proclamation of Bab, fore runner "of Baba ''u hah and at the same time birthday of Abdul Baba (1843) his corresponds to Daniel's promises in Holy Books, chapter 1 and 9). I am believing that most of your readers know his teaching about universal peace.
Everybody wants peace, talks about peace, and works for peace, but it is very strange that result is war. This reminds me of an anecdote, showing that it occurs by the reason of misunderstanding of each other which I insert below:
Four persons gained one pound by "making labour and each person said fo buy raisins in his own Runge. Irani wants ankur; Arab, ena; Turk, ozum; Greek, stafilia, Each Person was ignorant of one another's Tanguage, so they quarrelled with teach other. One man came who was knowing the languages of all these four men, took one pound and bought raisins. When the four persons saw this they shouted "this fs the thing We require."
This ignorance occurs because there is a similar atmosphere in world. I remember again another: Joke which I write here- down:
'A man went to medicine shop and asked for a medicine to intoxicate him. He got the medicine and went to bath. He took off his clothes and found that there was no result from the medicine. He ran, naked, to the shop and demanded his money back saying that he did not get the result
Jaughed and said you can ask some the, medicine. The shap-keeper people not intoxicated and they will explain you, 'What is the profit of war? In all times war brings and has brought many miseries to every people, nobody gains from the war. Therefore Tagain recommend to apply to th: religion, {0 Baha'u'llah teaching' who propayands an universal peace Gee Book of Baba "u ish and a new era).
