'Oxrom Vol. 1, Winter, 1004. Published for the "Oxford "Society by the Oxford" University "Press, London, It is always pleasant to be reminded of Oxford' and one is. always glad to spend an evening "remem-Dering," if possible with a contemporary, best of all with someone from one's own college. 'To many of us Oxford will remain' as something of prime importance and those who are in China and out of touch with much that goes on at home can a least feel that through the Oxford Society they have not lost touch with Oxford, and that through "Oxford" they can keep their "rememberings" up-to-date, The articles in this number are excellent, but one would like to see more photographs, not merely of new buildings but of old friends, views that one saw mos! of one's life in Oxford—even the Schools, now that the worst fas Yappenéd, could be looked upon with a friendly eye, and the Daren Buildings would be a positive joy. This is indeed the only erficism that one can level against the "Oxford," but perhaps future numbers wil' contain photographs. in plenty of old familiar scenes—a.a.
