The railways of normal gauge in Danzig are the property of the Polish Government who is responsible for their functioning and administration. The portion of the railway system Operating exclusively for the benefit! of the harbour, is the property of the special Board for the Port and Waterways of Danzig but remains under the management of the Polish Administration of Railways and is therefore operated by the latter. AN regulations concerning the norma) operation of railways are subject without any limitations to the rules established by the Polish Administration of Railways.
Poland has the right to operate in the area of Danzig her own postal service for any direct connections by post, telegraph or telephone, between ihe harbour area and Poland, and between Poland and foreign countries, In the harbours boundary Poland has her own postal service, including special post-boxes.
