As a result of the sudden rise in prices of textiles and cotton in the North China market, an order was issued on May 10 by the North China Liaison OMice of the China Affairs Board strictly forbidding speculation on these articles of trade.
The Liaison Oflce is planning to establish a textile. company which Will control all the textile business of Peiping, Tientsin, Tsinan and Tsingtao.
