Judge Chiao Wan-hsien, [president of the Third Branch Kiangsu Hu Court in the French Concession which iwas recently taken over by the new [Nanking regime, officially announced yesterday in a public notice that the Rew notes Issued by the Central Re-Serve Bank of the new regime should be accepted in all transactions, promising severe punishment for' those who disobey his order. It is stated, however, that if necessary those who want 16 uso the old legal tender Rotes may exchange them in the newly opened Shanghai branch of the Bank.
