Sad Outlook

All in all, the outlook for Prague and: the Czechs is of the saddest. Those Czechs, who feel. that they must accept the inevitable, and adjust themselves as best they can to foreign subjection: for another long interval, are afraid that violence will continue on the German side and opposition on the part of the Czechs until the war is ended.

1f the Allies should win, they expect the reconstitution of a small Czech State, though they confess that they find it difficult to see how such a State can exist economically without a hinterland, -unless: there is to be general European Free Trade. If the Allies should lose the war, these the Czechs inevitable.
