San Francisco, Mar. 23.
The United States Navy is more than ready and willing to convoy ships to Britain, says the San Francisco "Chronicle."
"It the British do not have the ships we must provide them. The stuff will get there even if we have to swim across with it," the article says. "America is in this thing right up to the neck. We cannot set any limits. We cannot make reservations about being short of men."
"If convoys are not available the United States Navy must provide them," the San Francisco newspaper declared.—Reuter.
