1869. rps Work, now in the SEVENTH year of its tence, will be published as early as practicable after the close of the year.
It will be compiled and printed at the Daily Press Office, as usual, from the best and most authentic sources, and no pains will be spared to make the work complete in all respects.
In order' to avoid mistakes and disappointment, the Publisher begs t intending Subscribers, that although another Directory, witha very situilar title, and for which his work has evidently been tak the ground work, is also about to be printed, it i:
identified with Me Chronicle and Directory pu-ed at the Daily Press Ottice.
He also requests that those persons who have not yet returned the printed forms which have been sent to them to fill up, will be good enough to do so without delay. Any persons who have recently arrived. and to whom printed forms have not been sent, are respectfully requested to forward their names and addresses as early as possible for insertion Agents in Shanghai, Messrs Laxg, Crawrorp & Ao.
