The usual monthly competition of the above Company took place on Saturday, in the morning and afternoon. The light was favourable for shooting, but this was more than counterbalanced by a fresh changeable wind, which came in gusts, and had the effect of causing the scoring to be more irregular than at the last competition. Private J. H. Baker, who shot in the morning when the wind was less unfavourable than in the afternoon, won the Cup with a total of 54, and having previously held it twice it becomes his property.
