Minutes of First Annual General Moot-of the above Society was held at the Marine Engineers' Institute on the Sth February, 1883, at 8 p.m.

being a quorum, the meeting was declared a formal one, The Secretary then read the notice calling the meeting, and the report and statement of accounts.
The Onarrwan than said—Gentlemen, the Report and Statement of Accounts which you have just heard read,-have been in your hands for some time past, and I have nothing to but I shall be glad to answer avy questions, or afford further explanation to any shatcholder, questions were asked.
The Cuatnuax—Gontlemen, I will now move that the Report and Accounts be accepted and [passed, as circulated. Seconded by Me, Grassrorp and carried unanimously.
