ixth ordinary meeting of the sharon in the above society was held at the Society's Offices, Peddar-street, on the 27th ult. There were present the Hon. P, Ryrie (chairman), Messrs. H. Hoppins, F. The Secretary having read the notice convening the meeting, The Cuarraax said—Gentlemen, we are met here to-day to pass the accounts of the year 1878. The report has been before you for some time. I presume you will consider ita satisfactory one, and I don't think it requires any remarks from me. I can only express the hope that the society will go doing as well as it has done in 1878. I will therefore propose that the repor bodies the payment of another di a final bonus to contributors, with the accounts attached, be adopted by this meeting.
Mr. Bezazaos said he had much pleasure in accending the resolution.
Carried unanimously.
The Directors have now to submit to the shareholders the Report on the business of the Society for the year 1878 and for the six months ending 30th June, 1879.
