Chairman otates that some of the residents on this road are desirous to have it regularly watered by carts instead of by coolies and buckets as at present, and that they would be glad to contribute towards any additional expense incurred. The Chair was taken by the Rov. W. Muirhead, large number of members, and many ladies were present, Presi briefly explained that the present meeting was held in accordance with the constitution of the Institute and said it had been made an open one by general desire.
