Sv. Artillery Monthly Cup

The January competition took place on Saturday, for the first time under the new rales, by which competitors are now divided into two classes. The weather was cold and there was a strong and rather baffling right wind, which seemed to considerably affect. the shooting at 500 yards. Driv. Bourke was the winner in A class with an only one competitor, whose shooting wa: extremely erratic; but as there was no opposition, he took the prize, consisting "f 100 rounds of ammunition.' It is to be hoped that there will in future be more competition between the second-rate shots of the Buttery. The scores in class A were as follows Driv. Bourke 200 yds, 500 yds. Ti.
