We received yesterday from Pore Tbarruthy, of the Mission Catholique Tchekiang, Ningpo, the following telegram Ningpo, 12th February, 1891.
"A disastrous fire on Tuesday night destroyed one-third of Tinghai city, the chief town.of Chusan. About two thousand families are houseless. Succour earnestly solicited."
Wa: shall be happy to receive and forward any contributions that may be sent us. for the relief of the distress caused by this fire, (Thermometers in the open air in a-shad: situation in the English Settlement.) Day which were alarmists to be 1891. warnings to the evil-dispogéd not to attack Fahr. Thermometer.
