Another change has been made in the Supreme Court. Mr, A. Seth, barrister- §°5 at-law, has been appointed pees itrar and Appraiser. Among other officials who will proceed ome next month is Mr. A. K. Travers, the popular Postmaster-Ceneral. Mr. Travers is retiring from the service. He is still in his prime, but he has been twenty-two years in the service, and not being dependent on pension prefers to retire while in vigorous health. He will be succeeded, I believe, by Mr. A. M. Thomson, acting Colonial Treasurer, who is one of the very smartest of the cadets. I note that the veteran Colonial Surgeon (Dr. Ayres, Ca4.G.) has taken his return passage to Hongkong. He likes the Colony too well to leave it!
