BAZAAR AT/THE CITY HALL

The first bazaar of the season (if I may so call it, the manager preferring modestly to style ita "sale of work") took place in St. Andrew's Hall on the 27th inst. There was a large atten lance, the hall being crowded all through the afternoon, and the various stalls were temptingly set out. Ths Band of the Hongkong Regiment was in attendance and played at intervals. The sale, which was for the benefit of the Baxter Mission (School for Chinese Girls), realised $1,200.
