COMMITTEE'S REPORT

The credit balance of Tls. 1,135.29 with the Agra Bank shows that the funds of the Society are in a very satisfactory state, and the Committee have much pleasure in calling attention to the fact that the Caledonian Ball, held in celebration of St. Andrew's Day last. year, was not only very successful, but resulted in a credit balance of Tls. 151.63 being carried to the Charitable Fund.

During the past year only one call for the relief of a distressed Scotchman was made upon the Society.

The St. Andrew's Bursary of $100 was competed for by pupils of the Shanghai Public School, and was awarded to Harry Stewart, the son of one of the Members of this Society.
