'The following minutes of meeting of the Sanitary Board held on the 13th of D cember, are ordered to be published Race' Course Ditch—Tho Board is in-forme! that the Council has communicated with the Rac" Club on the subject of closing and properly draining the ditch between the Race Course and the Wubbling Well Road avd that the matter is to come before the m-inbers of the Race Club at their annual meeting in January next.
Water Gas.—The Municipal Engineer stares that a clause ref-rung to water gas hans been embodied in the new contract to be made with the Gas Company, thus safeguarding public health interests, as recommended by the Board.
Clothes Washing Establishments.—The condition of these establishments is discussed und the Chairman, the Municipal Engineer and the Captain-Superintendent of Police arrange to visit the various washing places and to report on their state, their report to be circulated among the other members of the Board before the next meeting.
