(1) Shih Nien-tsu, Governor of Kuangsi, accuses Sich Kuang-ch} an expectant Taotai of Kuangsi, of being crafty, dis honest and avaricious, and guilty of conduct altogether unbecomingan officer of his rank, ete. We hereby cashier the said expectant Taotai and command that he be forthwith expelled from Kuangsi province.
(2) We have received' the memorial of the Police Censor of the Northern city: asking for promotions on behalf of the gentry and notables of the said city whose trained bands had been instrumental in capturing © number of bandits during the current year. The Board of Civil Appwintments is hereby commanded to go over the list, of names presented by the said Censor and report tous.
