For a few minutes the R.A, seemed to pin the Legation in, but on the game settling down the Legation continually rushed the ball to the vicinity of the R.A. goal, most of the forwards outpacing the artillery backs. The Legation centre half payed splendidly and seemed to be where he was wanted all the time. No score at half-time. On the game being resumed the Legation, with the sun in their eyes, were somewhat prosed, the backs and goalkeeper saving in splendid style on several occasions, Theie forwards made attacks, avd at one time Norris to score but failed. was called without score. Five each way extra time resulted in the R.A. putting in a goal a minute before the end.
