Scott has withdrawn his name from the list of candidates for the office of Munivipal Councillor, and as the rules of the above institution stipulate that one of the tree shall also be a member of the Municipal Council; I beg that you will kindly ask the new Council upon its assuinption of office to nominate one of its members to fill the vacancy.
