The annual meeting of the Ichaog Local Council was held -B.M.'s Consulate on Monday evening the 8th instant.
The following office-bearers were elected for the year:—Chairman: Mr. Wilton, Acting Consul; Hon. Secretary: Rev. W. Deans, Church of Scotland Mission; Hon. 'Treasurer: Mr. Him Shan; Executive Committee to look after the Cemetery. Messrs. Deans and Wilton; Executive Committee to superintend improvements: Messrs.
