At the last meeting of the Nanking Missionary Association © paper was read on "The War in South Africa" by Professor C.S. Leavenworth, of your Nunyang College in Shanghai.
The paper reviewed the incidents which had led up to the present war in a very lucid manner and was highly appreciated by the Jurge number of persons present. Professor Leavenworth spent three weeks in the City during the New Year holidays, dividing his time between the study of Chinese and bunting.
