Sim,—Some ten days ago you published an article commenting very favourably on suggestion made by Mr. Moss, of Foochow, ax to the advisability of attempting to infuse some life into the Tea-trade by, judicious advertising.
T have waited in the hope that some more influential member of the trade than myself would take this matter up, but 60 far no public notice has been taken of it, though I have elicited many tokens of assent from members of the trade.
should be glad if you will allow me to very briefly state what to my thinking are the objections to the scheme as pro posed by Mr. Moss.
