News received here from Hsian, dated the 25th instant, by the family of a prominent Official attached to the Court, states that both the Emperor and the Empress Dowager seem affected by the great heat, now prevalent in Shensi and this will be another pretext for the reactionaries to declare that. the Court cannot leave Hsian at the date previously set. There has al much sickness amongst the inal Hsian and ity as well as amens the followers of the Court, several deaths being reported. Th's has Set gossip agoing and the Empress Dowager has been reported to have declared "a strong yearning for her favourite haunts in Eho Park."-
