Haining Road Extension.—Further_lotter from Messrs. Drummond and White-Cooper is read, offering a contribution of Tls. 1,000 towards the cost of the 262 foot extension of the calverring of this road beyond Settlement limits, The Engineer estimates the cost of the extra work ab and since the offer now submitted approximates the one half cost for the Council has stipulated, it is decided to authorise acceptance.
