By an Imperial Edict of 9th June of this year (annex 2) Tsai Feng, Prince of first rank Chun, has been appointed Ambassador of H.M. the Emperor of China, and in this capacity has been commanded to express to H.M. the German -Emperor the regret of H.M. the Emperor of China and the Chinese Gorernment for the death of the German Ambassador, His Excellency Baron von Ketteler.
Prince Chun has left Peking on the 13th July of this year to carry out the commission entrusted to him.
