The Russian Legation informa! Reuter's Agency that the following bulletin was issued in Petrograd yesterday.
On the East Prussian front yesterday (Oct. 7) the struggle continued with unabated violence. Attacks made by fresh German troops from Wirballen and Filippovo, were repulsed with heavy losses. We stormed the village of Namenka, near Bakalarjevo, during the night and captured several German guns, while to the westward of Racaki in the Mazalschizna forest, durin the night, we surrounded a German detachment which we almost annihilated. The survivors fled. We captured several maxims.
We have captured the town of Biala.
Our engagements with the garri-ton of Przemys] have been all in our favour. We have stormed one front of the fortifications of the enemy's principal position.
