The conference before the Throne was attended by the five elder] Re Statesmen, the Premier, (Count Katsura) and the Ministers for Foreign Affairs (Baron Koroura), Finance (Baron Sone), War (Baron Terauchi), and the Marine (Baron Yamamoto).
Count Katsura and Baron Komura are to give a dinner, to-night to eighteen representa: ive members of the Upper House, to inform them of the course of the diplomatic proceedings.—Our own correspondent.
