To the Editor of the "Nonrs-Omixa Day News."
'8m,—The occasion of the Charity match on Christmas Day is one upon which the League Committee are particularly desirous that good foeling and sportemanlike attitude should prevail.
They therefore appeal to the publio who may be spectators to throw the weight of their opinion on that day againat unfair comment and improper remarks.
My Committee are of opinion thst, with such a backing, their efforts to ensure the best traditions being observed will result in players and spectators alike leaving the ground at the close of the match with pleasure and satisfaction.
A. J. Srewanr, airman, Shanghai Football Association League Committee.
