Avenue Road 8. V. OE. Head-quarters, Municipal Compound; Block of Cells for Female Convicts' Municipal Gaol! Market Sheds, Avenue Road and Ward Roads.
Works Completed are—Temporary District Fire Station, Avenue Road; Boundary Wall and Gates to Materials depot in rear of H. B. M. Gaol.
Works Completed on Existing Roads—The following table shows lengths of sewers with necessary manholes and gullies laid, new street gullies laid in place of old defective ones, lengths of new pavements and kerb and channel Inid and roads metalled, etc, during the month Streets.
Negotiations have taken place with regard to a strip of unregistered land opposite Cadastral Lot 361, E. for widening the Seou-nang-jaoka.
