COMPANY MEETINGS

BRITISH FLOWER SHOP

It is a common misconception on the part of the general public that the British Flower Shop 's an institution run solely for the benefit of British charities, and also that it is impossible to obtain cheap flowers at the shop.

That this is not so, and_ that some $10,000 was distributed last year among various Red Cross and other Allied funds as compared with $8,000 for the previous year, was made-quite clear at the fifth annual general meeting of the company held on Tuesday when Mr. HE. W. Lester presided.
