M. Nakamura, a Japarese passenger on board the str. Paul Locat, committed suicide in his cabin by hanging. while the vessel wad berthed at Whangnoo Wharf on New Year's Day. Deceased was a Government railway engineer end no information has transpired as to why he took his life.
The body was removed to the Honganji Temple, Woochang Road.
