It is stated that the Shsaghai Taotai has sent dispatch to the Mixed Court to say that he has received instructions from the Viceroy at Naoking ordering that all between Chinese and Chinese should be settled without delay, at the order of the Wai-wahu, so that no plea for complainst may be given to foreigners. The Mixed Court Magistrate is desired also to enbmit precis of auch cases settled for the perusal of the Waiwapa and the magistrate has taken steps to comply with the orders,
