Two villainous-looking men were charged with being concerned together in kidnapping a girl of ten years of ago in Hankow Road, and pawning her at a brothel at No. 306 Pakhoi Road for the sum of $160 on the 30th May, 1903, The mother of the child identified the little girl, who was then questioned at some Length by the magistrate. At first, she resended briskly to all questions, but, soon she became nervous, and began to cry, and no further evidence could be got out of her.
The accused were left to the Magistrate to be dealt with.
