A Soochow dispatch reports that H.E. Tuan Fang, Governor of this province, has instructed the Shanghai Taotai to request the British Consul-General to assist the Chinese authorities in getting the men now being tried before the Mixed Court on the charge of complicity in the murder of the Indian watchman tobe handed over to the Shanghai City Magistrate for trial, after the settlement of the first-named case.
