It is officially stated that the Cabinet Council have approved M. Porte's scheme for the establishment of the Banque Industrielle de Chine.
The capital of the company of management, which is the basis of the scheme, is already guaranteed by a powerful banking group, at the head of which is the Banque de Paris et des Pays Bas.
'As it is advisable that this vexed question should be settled without further delay, a bill will probably be tabled before the summer recess.—Reuter's Special' Service.
