Re Affairs in Tibet

A Northern paper states that the Waiwupu recently sent a telegram to H. E. Vu Tai, the Chinese Imperial Resident as Lhassa, informing him that the Waiwupu had already arranged with the British Minister in Peking concerning the delimitation of the boundaries of the two countries in Tibet and therefore urging the' perial Resident to use his best efforts in keeping the Lamas and Tybetam soldiers in order and to prevent them from breaking the peace against the British mission, which would endanger further friendly negotiations.
