A Hangchow, capital of Chekiang province, despatch, states that Governor Nieh of that city is sending five hundred dollars to pay the dovtor's bill of Mr. Kennedy, the Dowieite mis. sionary, who was dangerously injured ind of ratioes at the tation, near the city of SI month. As to the question of indemnity it is stated that a proposed conference between the Chekiang officials and the members of the Mission concerned, will settle the amount.
