The total amount of fines collected from the eleven jinricsha owners for using fal seals on ricsha licenses, as already recorded in these columns amounted to $2,080. Yesterday morning the Court decided to apportion the money as follows—$300 each to the General Hospital, Shantarg Road, and St. Luke's Hospitals, the Sinz Refuge and the Women's Re-fage; $280 to the Children's Refuge, and $100 was confiscated by the Court. The bslanoe of $200 deposited as guarantee bond for Ma Yung-ta was held over, pending his appearing before phe Court ited without permission.
