From north of Mukden reliable informa ation of rather a puzzling nature has been received. Some time ago we lowned that at Fakumén, a plice som 29 miles wert of the Liao river (in neutral territory) about 20 Russian soldiers were stationed, Recently between 20) and 300 heavily liden carts left Tichling, crossed the Liao, and passed through Fakumén to Halaot'akai, "about 20111 W. S. W. of Fakumén. The question is, what were they carrying? At first it was supposed that it must be ammunition of some sort; but they have no camp or soldiers there.
