Peking, Sept. 29.
Phe Russian Legation comrounicates the following official telegram to Reuter's Agency in Peking:
The Russians are rapidly ad-vaneing through the forests in the Augusta district and continually engaging the enemy.
The fire of the German artillery at Ossovez has become very intense since the morning of September 97. An attempt by German infantry to approach nearer to the fortress failed.
On the Silesian front the enemy has been considerably reinforced and is ry active.
Austrian sorties from Proemyal have been without result.
The Austrians are continually retreating and are quite mixed up. The Russians are continually capturing prisoners, guns and war materials.
