Sim,—With reference to your article in today's issue appealing for subscriptions towards the ex-penees of Volunteers for the front, as [am unable to go myself, being over the age limit, I shall be pleased to pay the passage of anyone who is able to go in addition to my subvoriptions to the Prince of Wales's Fund. If ninety-nine more are prepared to do the' same the passages for the 100 who have volunteered will be covered.
