To the Editor of the Shanghai, Dec. 7.

To the Editor of the "Norts-Oaina Dairy News."

81r,—I wish to record my hearty appreciation of your action in so strongly supporting ''Citizen's"' let: ter which appeared in your issue of to-day, and which pute the pressing need for such a Park so clearly before the foreign community. It. is to be hoped that there may he tangible results from this fresh ex-Pression of feeling. I need hardly point out that the proper course to be pursued is to have a proposal made at the forthcoming Ratepayers' Meeting that the Council empowered to purchase the site at Bubbling Well, and I trust that those ratepayers who are interested will see to it that this is done. I am, ete., D. MacDonatp.
