On the 5th German forces attempted to assume the offensive from Mlawa in the direction of Prasnysz, but were repulsed with heavy losses.
Recently we noticed that the enemy intended to outflank our left wing, south of Cracow. - Forces sent to reinforce us found the bridge across the Dunaitz (1 Dunajec) destroyed at Kury and the heights on the left bank of the river ocoupied by the enemy. One of our famous regiments waded the river, neck-deep in the ice-cold water and under a galling fire, and stormed the heights of Tengoborjo, ensuring the crossing of other troops.
