This was a claim for $17.25 for wages due.
The defendant did not appear, and sent a medical certificate to show to that she was too unwell to come to Court.
His Lordship explained to the plaintiff that the defen had paid the amount claimed into Court, bunt she alleged that he had been guilty of theft. She would be given one month in which to sue plaintiff to conviction in the Mixed Court, and if by that time he had not been found guilty the money would be paid to him,
