"STRAFING."

By the way, this word "strato" is becoming as much a part of the English language as the word ''commandeer" which, if we are not mist taken, was a legacy of the South African War. The hungry man "strafes" his breakfast ¢} the energetic man "strafes" his day' work. The word "Hun" as suitable substitute for "Germ was introduced by Rudyard Kipling some years ago, and produced storm of indignation in Germany. Even in England we were then #0 blind to fects, that the poet in-cared a good deal of adverse criticism. Now, of course, one is almost inclined to apologize to the memory of Attila for associating him with his cultured descendants.
