Manila, Jan. 23.
One of the most interesting events that have ocourred in Manila for some time, took place on the Luneta Last Tuesday evening, when Captain Walter H. Loving, the well known conductor of the famous Constabulary Band, conducted his last concert. Captain Loving has retired from the Constabulary with the rank of Major and this was his farewell to the Manila public fore leaving for the States.
'A great crowd assembled to hear the concert and to show their esteem for the man who for so many years had delighted them nearly every evening and who by his skill and splendid ability had made his musicians the finest orchestra in the East.
