The effect of these two schools may already be gauged, and the Committee considers that the strictures upon the present building and the desirability of separate ing the boys' side from the girls' side, are problems which should be faced at once. Mr. Abraham maintains the view that the new school should be in the Western District, but the remainder of the Committee is unanimously opposed to this view, attention being drawn to the fact that the Report now under consideration recommends definitely that it be on the north of the Soochow Creek. After considerable further discussion, and upon the Chairman's proposal, the Committee recommends that the Council be asked for a definite allotment of a site on ti Range property, and for an appropria tion in the Budget sufficient to erect a school for the accommodation of 200 boys, the school building to be capable of expansion hereafter ta accommodate double that gumper. ranning of further ad Tam, Sir, -Your obedient servant, W.
